I am Dr. Lisa Radesi, DNP, MSN, CNS, RN, PHN. I am currently the President of the SIGMA Omicron Delta Chapter. I began my career as a medical/surgical nurse and paramedic in upstate New York, later transitioning to the emergency department in a West Virginia hospital. I have held various roles at the University of Phoenix School of Nursing including dean of nursing, dean of academic affairs and specialized programs, and campus college chair. I have also served as an adjunct faculty specializing in pediatrics for Pacific Union College. My roles at Valley Children’s Hospital Emergency Department in Madera, California included staff RN, charge RN and clinical educator. At Valley Children’s, I was instrumental in the development of a preceptor course and a new graduate nurse core curriculum. I also taught ENPC, TNCC, CPR, PALS, and ACLS for the hospital.
I have has published on Pediatric Septic Shock and on Institutional Partnerships along with Infections across Populations. I have also participated in several poster and podium presentations locally, nationally and internationally. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing with a clinical nurse specialist focus from California State University, Fresno. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
