"Your mask, your shield"
Knowing we can protect ourselves makes us feel safe. Improving that sensation of safety for nurses at the bedside has a profound impact—on patient care, on nurses’ health, and even on the nursing profession.

Please join us for our first Awareness Focus Chat with your honor society colleagues and chapter leaders.
We look forward to a dynamic conversation!

"Professional Development through Member Interaction"
For the first time ever, the focus of our meeting will be to showcase our members. We seek to feature what our members are doing in terms of clinical practice or evidence-based projects, research, and student work such as practicum projects or dissertations. Our goals are not only to feature our members but also to share best practices and spark collaboration among members across the United States and in other countries.

Discussion Page:  Question and discussion threads will be posted on the chapter's Circle page
Meeting Materials:  Speakers will post a summary of their activity in a thread on the Circle so members may review the work and respond with questions and comments.

"Building Bridges of Hope over Roaring Waters"
Over the past several weeks nursing education has made immediate, unprecedented shifts to online and remote instruction, leaving many educators feeling burdened, overwhelmed, and even guilty. Many have voiced sentiments of role strain related to balancing multiple “at home” challenges such as working while parenting, homeschooling, providing elder care, being pulled to the frontlines, etc. Participants will reflect upon recent losses, explore mechanisms for prioritizing competing demands, and discuss methods for fostering resilience during this time of uncertainty. This webinar is designed for nurse educators across all programs and levels.

Please join us for this CE opportunity with your honor society colleagues and chapter leaders learning together.

The emotional scars left by this pandemic will be felt for years to come. Our primary focus as healthcare leaders will eventually shift from the physical safety aspect of care to an empathic emotional approach to recovery for all caregivers involved in the pandemic response. This presentation will provide a three-step approach to ensuring emotional agility, giving you easy to use steps to not only care for yourself but also care for those who have dedicated themselves to care for their patients during this very difficult time.

"From the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic"
We could not keep up with the large influx of initial patients. Every day we were seeing a new influx of patients in our emergency room. These patients are the sickest of the sick, and the care is extremely challenging and stressful. The support and teamwork we give each other is the only way to get through the shift. If there is any time for team nursing, it is now!

Please join us for our Awareness Focus Chat with your honor society colleagues and chapter leaders.
We look forward to a dynamic conversation!

"Staying Positive When Surrounded by Negativity"
As nurses we often hear and see the worst. This has been intensified in the time of COVID-19. How do you keep positive when your colleagues are negative saying "I can't take it anymore," or "I'm so tired of this place," or even worse, "I'm quitting.”? This panel will discuss ways to remain positive and even thrive among the bad or negative attitudes of others.
Please join us for this CE opportunity with your honor society colleagues and chapter leaders learning together.
