It is no surprise that nurses have played a vital role during natural disasters. American Red Cross nurses are on the scene providing medical care and general disaster relief and aid in the United States and around the world. These healthcare professionals, often working in challenging.
The American Red Cross responds to a disaster every 8 minutes. No one else does this: not the government, not other charities. The Red Cross works closely with partners to provide safe shelter, clean water, food, emotional support and other critical services to those in need and is focused on making sure everyone has a safe place to stay.
