Chapters and members of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) have a proud history of helping individuals who need assistance with their membership dues. This investment provides future leaders with access to the knowledge, services, and partnerships offered by Sigma.
There are two subsidy programs available. We invite you to apply for a subsidy, should you have a need. Applications may be submitted any time during our fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Once all funds have been distributed, the scholarship process is closed until the next July 1.
*NOTE: Do not complete a Membership Subsidy Application until you have received an official invitation from Sigma for membership through your Chapter.
Sigma Membership Subsidy
Through the Edith Anderson Membership Subsidy, Sigma will underwrite up to 75% of the membership dues for individuals experiencing financial difficulties if their chapter cannot assist. Those eligible for the subsidy include but are not limited to, any new or existing Sigma members undergoing temporary financial difficulties who require assistance to activate or continue their membership. You will be notified within 5-7 business days of your approval.
