What is H2Omicron Delta?  

The Omicron Delta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, International created H2Omicron Delta, as a service initiative for the promotion of access to clean water worldwide.  The chapter launched this campaign with an initial service activity to support www.water.org. H2Omicron Delta, is designed to raise awareness of the need for access to clean water worldwide. Water facts according to www.water.org:  Every day women in third world countries walk an average of 3.4 miles to collect clean water for the family’s needs

In the last three years, Omicron Delta has raised over $6000 to help end the water crisis.  During the year, Omicron Delta hosts "Walk for Water" events that go along with education conferences.  The chapter has walked in many locations such as Indianapolis, Savannah, Chicago, San Francisco, St Louis, and Las Vegas.  

2019 - 2020 Campaign and Events  

After a successful 2018 - 2019 campaign, where our chapter raised over $2000 - the 2019-2020 campaign has begun!  The goal is to match or beat the 2018-2019 campaign and raise more than $2020.  Donations may be made online, directly to chapter's water.org campaign.  All donations are tax deductible.  To help someone get access to clean water, please consider donating to the 2018-2019 Omicron Delta H2Omicron Delta campaign:  Omicron Delta Water.org 2019-2020 Campaign           

In November 2019, members of the Omicron Delta chapter completed a walk in Washington DC.  Members who were attending the STTI Biennial Convention as well as local members in the area were invited to attend.  The next event will be in the fall of 2020 in Phoenix, AZ.  Be sure and watch The Circle discussions for more details as they become available!
